Cork It.

If you are anything like me, copious amounts of wine can get consumed in a week--depending on the type of week you are having, of course. :) The age old question (at least for me), is what can be done with all the corks?! It is always a shame to me to just throw those things of beauty into the trash. Cork art is an up-and-coming DIY trend, and can be used from simple coasters to maps and wall art. Have you ever watched the show Barnwood Builders? It is a show about five West Virginians who salvage old barns. I've recently became hooked on this show, and it is making me dream of log cabins. There is just something so authentic about these log cabins; they incorporate nature, and bring the natural beauty of the outdoors inside.
